Through the EDCTP funded ENTRANT fellowship, Dr Sarah Nyangu was able to obtain her MSc Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, 2021-2022 cohort. Her background as a medical doctor equipped her with the necessary skills and foundation to obtain this master’s degree. She said “LSHTM has always been my dream school, being given this opportunity through a scholarship to learn at such a prestigious university was a dream come true. I remember making calculations to see if I could afford paying for myself, it didn’t seem possible to do so, therefore the only way was getting a scholarship. Through Zambart, I was able to get this scholarship and I am most grateful to the management team and research directors at Zambart for granting me this opportunity. I look forward to doing more innovative research work as an infectious disease’s epidemiologist”.
