Dr. Kwame Shanaube

Kwame Shanaube MBCHB, MPH, PhD is a seasoned Zambian medical doctor and public health expert with 20 years of experience in multidisciplinary research, focusing on TB/HIV. As the Executive Director at Zambart, she provides strategic leadership and direction. With a strong research background, she has led 8 large-scale studies, published over 130 papers, and mentored numerous students.
Dr. Shanaube holds notable positions, including member of the EDCTP and Applied Global Health Research Board Review Panels, and is an honorary lecturer at the University of Zambia School of Public Health. She is a member of the Knowledge Translation Technical Working Group and of the Data Repository Technical Working Group.
Her achievements have been recognized with a merit award from the National Science and Technology Council.
