In a bid to Improve Health for All, Zambart has continued to deliver integrated health services to the Chipulukusu community through the TB Reach Wave 11 and Lung Cancer Projects, with a focus on early detection, prevention, and linkage to care. Services provided include lung health screening for TB and other respiratory conditions, blood pressure screening for hypertension, HIV testing and counseling, and Nicotine Replacement Therapy to support tobacco cessation. Clients identified with health needs are counseled and referred to appropriate health facilities for further management, strengthening continuity of care within the public health system.
Service delivery is provided both at the Zambart Community Hub and through outreach activities in identified community hotspots to reach underserved and high-risk populations.
To improve awareness and uptake of services, the team conducts sustained community engagement through door-to-door sensitization and community announcements in collaboration with local leadership. These approaches have improved community awareness, increased utilization of services, and strengthened linkages between the community and available health services.
