The ZAMBART head was among several representatives from various non-governmental organisations working in the province in HIV/AIDS programming that met with the provincial permanent secretary at her office. Community-Based organisations also attended the meeting at which Ms Mutale formally introduced herself to the organisations.

The permanent secretary called for more interaction between the NGOs and government so that they could work collectively to achieve various developmental goals for the province. She encouraged them to get in touch with her office whenever they have issues that need government attention.

Dr. Mwinga paid a courtesy call on ZPCT II, one of the HPTN 071/PopART study implementing partners. Dr. Mwinga and ZPCT 11 Provincial Program Manager, George Chigali, held a discussion on various implementation aspects of the PopART study in Kabwe.

Dr. Mwinga also took time to visit PopART field staff at the Makululu Health Centre where she was given a guided tour of the health facility and how the HPTN 071/PopART study was being conducted. She met with the PopART clinic staff, Population Cohort Research Assistants and CHiPs.
